Master Bathroom Facelift -For less than $7k!

Take a look at this outdated bathroom I renovated at the Lexington House. Peep the grandma curtains and bird cage over the bathtub. There was so much space and opportunity in this master bathroom for creativity and improvement. So basically, this was a dream space. I started with the front of the room painting the cabinets from this wood stain to a gorgeous dark-shade black and added accented gold handles for a unique contrast.

I left the countertop but decided to replace the faucet with these sleek handles for a clean modern feel. After that, I was able to change the single mirror stretching across the vanity into two separate tall, rectangular mirrors - one over each sink. Things were really starting to come together at this point and the last touch on this section of the bathroom was to change out the light fixture in between the mirrors.

My next task was to completely remove the bathtub and replaced it with this free standing porcelain tub with a faucet and handles matching the ones on the sink.

One of the most difficult, and time consuming, (but totally worth it!), parts of the whole project was adding the tile backsplash across the room and into the shower. Oh my, was that a job - but look at the results! I could not be happier with how it turned out.

Lastly, and this is my absolute favorite aspect of the project, is the water closet behind the shower. I added white shiplap on three out of four walls and on the fourth from midway down. The top half of that fourth wall I found these amazing stickers and made a pattern of clementine's. I basically made my own wallpaper and I'm so excited about it!

Now that all the renovations are done, it's time for the finishing touches. Adding any accents, rugs, cute soap dispensers and last minute paint touch-ups really clean up the space and make it feel so put together and complete! I'm so happy with how everything turned out.
